Cool

Sorry to hear about your ding. I don't have a ding yet but what I did to prevent a ding was 10x worse. I always park on an end space and I was in a hurry last Friday and instead of pulling in and then backing up and moving over I just tried to pull in closer to the curb and chewed up my front passenger rim. Then on Sunday my dad was in the back seat driver's side and we went to the Lexus dealer party for the new ES350 and it was so packed and there was no parking available so I parked along a curb which had a chain fence along a retention pond, well dad opened his door so far that after I got out of the drivers side I see his door on the fence. I about had a cow and I'm leaning on the fence trying to get it away from the door, yelling dad, dad, get the door off the fence and he got it off but some paint is gone. Luckily it is along the end of the door and you can't see it when the door is closed. That was two days apart from each other.

Now we are starting to get LOVE BUGS here which are horrible and eat your paint if you don't get them off right away. Its always something. I have to keep repeating, its only a car, its only a car. Ugghhhh

Bound to happen. No dings yet for me, however, i do have to two nice chips from rocks on each fender. As an added bit of fun, on the way to Sea World on Saturday a set of car keys came flying up from a semi's front wheel and bounced on my hood, then hovered for a second and then bounced 2 or 3 more times right before they slid off the side of the hood.

This is a great way to get some nice scratches on the hood of your 2IS to really make it stand out from the crowd.
