I have a 2012 LS 460L in UAE which was shipped from US.

I have ABS/BRAKE/VSC check light on my dash for almost 6 months but the brakes and ABS are working fine. I bought the bluedriver diagnostic tool to diagnose the issue and found out C1391 code 'Abnormal Leak in Accumulator' for both ABS and Electronic-Controlled Power Steering.

Can anyone please tell me if the problem is in the ABS or the Steering system or is it the actuator?

 

sorry to tell you. These could be the electric brake pump and the abs module is going bad . Send me your details to see if I could guide you to a good workshop in UAE.

 

I am living in Dubai.
I do notice my pump going off making a rattling noise from time to time but I do not feel anything wrong in my brakes in the past 6 months since this check light has come up and there is no leak either.

 

The leak is internal meaning its between the accumulator and the ABS actuator . The Pressure is not stable that is why the pump could work for a long time to hold pressure . Please fix it because the pump(accumulator) is the brake force so overtime the pump will fail due to overheating . The fix consists of replacing the accumulator and ABS with proper programming.
