I have a 2007 460L. The dealer replaced the console under ZLZ. I would suggest taking the car to them to see if it still qualifies - ZLZ may have expired. The previous owner may not have thought it needed it.
Good luck.

I'm definitely looking into this for my 2008 LS460, hopefully they'll do it near me.

As long as the VIN is within the correct range the number of owners etc. is irrelevant.

A birdie on this forum told me that my 2012 qualifies and has never had it done (same with the brake actuator). Can I get panels replaced even thought mine are all OK?

2007 LS460--Just had the dash, console, front doors-basically all but the arm rest-replaced at Nashville Lexus. They did it in one day and did a good job-EXCEPT they didn't reconnect the antenna to the radio. Now we only get static. Have an appt to take it in next week to get it fixed.

Just took my 2011 Ls 460 with sport package interior in for the sticky dash recall. This car has been garage kept it entire life and not exposed to the sun and heat. Just starting to discolor and get sticky. Lexus of Jacksonville Fla. said they would replace all door panels, console front and back and all dash components. This car was placed in service May 6,2011. I will keep you updated.

I echo your feelings. It is amazing to drive a car that is over 10 years old but looks new inside. Fortunately, the remaining interior parts in my car was well maintained, i.e., wood, etc., which further enhances the appearance. With only 58k miles, I think I will keep it a few more years.

I took mine in last week to have it checked out. Was worried about the March 31 deadline, like it said in my letter.
They said I would still have been covered until November 2021. I did not ask why. Was just so grateful all was approved to be replaced. And parts now on order.

The expiration date for most of the model years earlier than 2011 is March 31. Otherwise, the expiration date is 10 years from the date the vehicle was first placed in service. Was your LS initially placed in service in November of 2011?

Yes, that would explain it.

Thanks

I took my 2007 LS in today to get a major service and have the console, glove box and leather piece under the drivers dash inspected for the ZLZ replacement. They said that it would be covered and they would place the order for the parts. I received a call later today and they said that they have the replacement parts already in hand. Apparently they ordered parts to replace somebody’s interior and the person never came in to get the parts installed last year.
