LS 460 vs Lincoln continental
Hi guys, I'm in shopping mode and my choices are between a 2013+ ls 460 ultra luxury vs 2017 lincoln continental reserve and. Without seeing either car yet. The Lincoln has a better refined interior, seats, and stereo than the lecus. Should be interesting to see the difference in ride comfort and noise.

As already stated, the long term ownership will be less dramatic with the Lexus than it will with the Ford. It's one of the reasons I bought an extended warranty - not something I would normally do

Its just at its core a much less expensive car than the LS, on a Taurus platform, remember it starts at $44k while the LS starts at $75k. You feel that difference in the car's DNA.
I've driven a couple of Continentals, I considered one before I traded my 2015 LS in on the 2017. No comparison, the Continental is not at all in the same league. Its FWD, powertrain is nowhere near as refined, ride is not the same at all, especially compared to an LS with the air suspension. Interior looks good in pictures, but in person there are lower rent materials than you find in the Lexus, etc. Lincolns seats are cool, but that's really it. After test driving it I immediately crossed it off the list.

I just traded my 17 Continental Reserve in for a 15 LS 460 F-Sport Crafted Line. I actually liked the Continental but mine had a few knocks. Interior rattles at 25K,FWD, and had over $8k of work done in less than 2 months. I was seriously considering getting a Black Label version with the 3.0L AWD,Revel system, and LED headlights. The Lincoln is a beast with the 3.0L. Heck, even with the 2.7L it really moves. Came across the LS and was overtaken with their build quality over the Lincoln. My main gripe about the LS is the infotainment system is hopelessly outdated. One thing Ill have to put up with. Ill take that over the constant repairs I had to go through. Also, the level of customer service provided with the Lexus over Lincoln is amazing.

Yeah, I saw that too. So they're taking a $45k car and adding $55k in options, basically. It's still a $45k platform, though, which is why I don't think it's worth the money.
I'm much more likely to commit to this car long term with the options it has than I was the 2015.
