Sounds like the engine is not getting sufficient air. Try taking them out and run the car without them. If it runs fine you'll know the new filters are the problem.
Which is your model and how often do you change your filter? Have you checked the compatibility of the current filter with your car...check if it has been installed correctly....
No idea when it was changed before, but I am changing it about 3mths after I got it.. there was no problem before i changed the sensor or when i dusted out the old ones a couple of weeks ago. just today after i put the new ones in.. they are original parts and the plastic housing seems ot be sealed corrected the sensors seems to be connected correctly
Maybe you didn't attach the air filter box lid completely and excess air is getting in (running lean)? The lids are a little difficult to get off and back on again.

defintely sounds like the airbox lids arent seated properly. check all the you didnt pull off any of the hose going to the airbox lid, the cips might have been loose and you created a leak.
So an update what I think it was... the car has been running on dirty filters maybe for a while so it has learnt to function on the amount of air/oxygen etc, now that clean filters are there the engine has to relearn how to function....which is why it behaved like there was too much air etc... because later in the day yesterday and today it is running back to normal

Whatever caused the problem, that certainly wasn't it. An engine can't get "too much air".
"IF" the problem happens again:
Look around for any disconnected wiring plugs or broken wires in the area....... It may be helpful to "reseat" some of the wiring plugs in the area.
the car would take in the same amount of air regardless if the box is open or not
If the air box is open and the filters are not seated properly, then air can be drawn around the filters which would cause the car to be lean (more air than fuel). That might be the case his car was re-learning after he replaced the dirty filters which explains why the car was back to normal after a period of driving. The car was sucking more air than before.
The problem you describe also happens to some after an oil change. Car returns to normal after about 40 miles of driving. I know this sounds weird but it's a documented problem.

yeah I’ve read about it which is why I came to the conclusion above.
