Oil Change Display Notification
My Change oil light came up on about 350 miles into our 800 mile round trip. The odometer just turned 20,400.
Is there any way to turn this off myself?
The last oil change was at 16,600. I was planning on having it changed when I got home next week.
I left my Techstream cable at home, won't make that mistake again.

The oil change reminder on startup can be turned off in the Vehicle Settings Maintenance menu. But you have a change oil icon light up on the dash?
i drove around with a Maintenance Required warning with the ⚠️ on my dash for three weeks before I got my oil change done on Thursday ahead of our holiday travel today. Resetting the settings in the Maintenance menu did not make the warning and ⚠️ go away, so I am guessing resetting that light has to be done by the dealer or with Techstream.
I checked for any codes using Carista but there were none to clear. So, I am not exactly clear on why the Maintenance warning and ⚠️ came on in my case. It can be unnerving, but you may have to drive with the change oil light on. Or you could drive into any Toyota dealership and ask them to do a quick oil change and reset it. Who knows, they may even just reset it for you without an oil change.
Safe twavels, and enjoy your beautiful car!

You can reset the light yourself.

I will try this out and see what happens. I can live with the little yellow triangle but the note is annoying.
you can definately reset this light. mine comes on around 4500 miles after oil change and i reset and i usually get mine changed 8k. there are several simple, easy youtube videos showing how to do it!
Just went out to the car and was able to clear the warning light. Very easy but buried in the manual.
Start car & set trip meter to Trip A
Turn off engine.
Press reset trip and hold start button down, no touchy the brake, and the notification will be turned off. It takes about 5 seconds and there will be a progress bar indicating that it is being reset.
Went into the Nav setup and was able to access the interval settings and make them what ever I wanted. Again very easy to do.
Thanks CL

The oil service light comes on everytime you strart the car after it thinks its due. A few hundred miles longer than it pops up and stays up till you clear it. Mine did just that yesterday on a small road trip. Once i stopped i reset it to clear it. The Nav setting reminder is just for the Nav screen to go off. You can set that to whatever you want it to be.
