Default Driver side suspension higher on driver side

I’ve notice my cars air suspension is higher on the driver side while parked or driving. I’ve had the front struts replaced back in April but never paid any attention of the height until recently when someone follow behind me driving my car while I drove another. I have a 07 LS460L is there a way I can adjust this suspension or is this a dealer fix ?

Anybody else experience this? Guessing a trip to the dealer for diagnostics is in my future

It's over 8 months since you replaced the struts. Are you sure you have had this issue ever since? You should take it back to the shop that replaced the struts, and if they can't help, then to the dealer (assuming they are different). You cannot adjust this yourself.

I bought my car like that too , left side was higher then right side

You can manually adjust the air suspension to any height you want, from fully slammed to 4x4 high, sadly the scammers at the dealer wont tell you about it, or offer any services to adjust it.

I called 3 dealers and all said they could not do it, and said there was no way to do it, then I ended up doing it myself in my garage.

Hi *****, this is great news indeed. I talked to my dealer about using Techstream to adjust the suspension height. They flatly refused saying it is a safety issue and not recommended by Lexus.

Did you use Techstream to adjust heights or did you do a permanent fix by adjusting the links? There is an extended thread in this forum (started by McKelleyb) that describes using Fakestream to adjust heights, but it appears to be quite hard and problematic to get right.

Hey como

it is great, and I was shocked to see no one else has shared this info, even though I'm sure tons of people are already aware of it.

I made a thread a while ago, its as much of a DIY as I was capable of, I'm not very mechanically inclined and I was able to do it.

I just used the links, and adjusted them manually.

The most difficult part was continually having to re-adjust , go drive, allow to setlle and then take wheel off and do it again.

The dealers in my area were utterly useless, its the only way to describe it. I could understand them not wanting to lower the car, but they wont even adjust it, and says its not adjustable, and want me to bring the car in for diagnosis to find out "whats wrong" , which would of certainly led to some struts or sensors being replaced for no reason.

Ill try to find my thread and link it here for you , hope it helps somewhat.

I’m not sure I’m definitely taking it back to the Indy shop first to see if they know what’s up.. but I thought I should ask on here as well just In case I could’ve done something myself and save the trip

Ok cool, I’ve only seen one other thread on here thst mentioned this and the guy did it while his was on but didn’t go into detail like you. I definitely will try this once the snow melts. Is it possible to reach the links with tire on?

Exactly what happened to me as well. After the dealer replaced my rear shocks my car came back pretty much slammed on the rear so much the suspension was off. Dealer will go above and beyond to try to convince you that the suspension cannot be adjusted/calibrated and I actually had to prove it to them myself through the service repair manual and show them all the step on how it can be done before they had no choice but to acknowledge it. Kinda sad when you choose the dealer route hoping they would be the best people to know the car when in fact its more like a boutique for selling car.

I read those threads too , before I proceeded with mine. The lack of detail in the threads made me decide to just take the safe route and turn the car off before doing anything.

Ive had bad experiances with them dating back to my first lexus, 93 sc400.

They aren't Lexus specialists at all, I'm sure of that.
