I am frustrated. I have a new used 2014 LS 460. I had a 2007 LS with and iVIC installed. VAIS has quit making the iVIC as there wasn't enough demand. I loved the product. I even set up the ipne with a mouse app so i could select item without looking down from the large screen. I should probably have kept the 2007 but water under the bridge. I read the post on the present products Grom isnt ready nor is the Beat-Sonic. I called Beat sonic and it is still under development with no release date. OK venting done. I have used Apple carplay in numerous rental cars and the ability to use the latest maps is very appealing. A mirroring system would allow the use of WAZE which I happen to love. Any other ideas. I also called VAIS and they were no help.

Does BeatSonic have a kit to mirror iPhones on 2010-12 Models ?? I don't see anything listed...
No, Beatsonic doesn't have a phone mirroring kit for LS460's before the 2013 model year. I called them to confirm this. Apparently, the nature of the output/head unit changed in 2013.
Yes there is! Called BeatSonic myself and confirmed they don't have a mirroring kit for LS460s before 2012. I was bummed out and asked them if they knew of another company offering the same. They told me about another company called Navtool.Check them out at Navtool.com seriously thinking about trying it out.

Just looked at their site. $300 plus you need a lightning to HDMI adapter and some cables for iPhone integration. After doing a little digging they get terrible reviews on other car forums. 1.7 out of 5 on BBB website.

hmmmm hard to believe as I've had great experiences with them and haven't heard anything negative about them on Club Lexus.
Was curious to see their BBB rating and looked it up myself. I don't think they are rated yet...
Navtool are terrible don't buy anything from navtool even if it's free. they have bad customer service, they're disrespectful. Last month i had purchase the mirror kits from Navtool for my 2008 LS460 i was supposed to receiver the product in three days, 3 weeks later still no product when try to call them the were being disrespectful, they didn't want to cancel the order to give me my money back so i had to call paypal to get a refund.
Does anyone with a 2010-12 have or had the discontinued iVic-6i? or compatible model? Does it work well?
Maybe with enough interest Vaistech will rerelease it.. With the age of these cars now they tend to land in the hands of people like us who would buy this technology unlike most original owners.
without delving too deep into this topic.. why dont u just grab an Apple tv linked to an a/v input (may need to add a wifi hotspot if u cant tether from your phone) done & done.. no need to screen mirror then as all the things on the iphone are available thru the apple tv... if u MUST screen mirror that can be done too but its a bit redundant...
