Are you going to try to do any adjustments to your air suspension or do you not have anything planned as of yet?
Thanks man
I asked my dealer about lowering height below stock using Techstream. They declined citing liability issues.

This is the only vehicle mechanical setting I am aware of that folks have customized using 3rd party hardware (Datasystems controller). I doubt very much that folks would be interested in messing with engine settings using Techstream or Carista. Other than maybe the speed limiter. Then again I have never gone over 100 mph let alone the current limit of 130 mph.

I wonder whether infotainment settings like DVD Nav bypass can be accessed by Techstream, but that would be another thing that might be useful to override, if possible. This setting is definitely a safety issue, so liability concerns could be even bigger than with height adjustment.

In the 3comlink listing, the cable comes with a software disk, which apparently contains a pirated copy of Techstream. Other eBay listings quote prices of (unpirated?) Techstream software ranging from $700-2000.

Personally not illegally using Techstream for anything as I'm waiting for you to give me lowering ability with my Carista!

That's too bad. Maybe eBay got wind of the pirated software and shut him down. There are many listings for the same item, so you could try a different source. Make sure they include the software disc though.

Amazon sells these like crazy. I have been told there is a version out now that works with Windows 10, but have not had time to look. The older version I bought off Amazon 4 years ago does everything that is being asked about on here.

Well, it says it "works with all versions of Techstream". How do you know it has Techstream on the disk? Also, 32 bit OS only.

Not surprised, but when you consider it, a dealer will not offer this service. They will then be liable for any issue arising from lowered height, mechanical or thru an accident. I am sure the Datasystems controller comes with a legal disclaimer regarding liability. Same goes for mods like PS Nav Bypass units, etc.

So, I wouldn't put this down to dealer incompetence. You are probably the first person to make this request!

I have it running, version 10, without an XP virtual machine or the like, on a Win 10 (home) 64-bit platform. The machine is an MSI GT80, so not super-special.

32bit software runs fine on 64bit systems, it's the hardware that is the issue, and typically the hardware driver install programs that get wonky. doing a manual install of the drivers as you posted circumvents that issue.

Is this in the works or something you guys have zero plans of bringing to the product?

Not all 32 bit software runs on a 64 bit OS. So, this disk DOES contain the Techstream software and the 32 bit software DOES run on 64 bit Windows 7?
