Got an eBay techstream running
I asked my dealer about lowering height below stock using Techstream. They declined citing liability issues.
I wonder whether infotainment settings like DVD Nav bypass can be accessed by Techstream, but that would be another thing that might be useful to override, if possible. This setting is definitely a safety issue, so liability concerns could be even bigger than with height adjustment.
In the 3comlink listing, the cable comes with a software disk, which apparently contains a pirated copy of Techstream. Other eBay listings quote prices of (unpirated?) Techstream software ranging from $700-2000.

Personally not illegally using Techstream for anything as I'm waiting for you to give me lowering ability with my Carista!
seller canceled my order and refunded my $18, said the product is no longer available.
That's too bad. Maybe eBay got wind of the pirated software and shut him down. There are many listings for the same item, so you could try a different source. Make sure they include the software disc though.
Amazon sells these like crazy. I have been told there is a version out now that works with Windows 10, but have not had time to look. The older version I bought off Amazon 4 years ago does everything that is being asked about on here.
A lot of uhhhh, and uhmmmm, and hold on lemme find out ....and finally do you want to bring your car in so we can diagnose it? FFS
Well, it says it "works with all versions of Techstream". How do you know it has Techstream on the disk? Also, 32 bit OS only.

I called two dealers yesterday asking how much they would charge to adjust my air suspension settings and they are as F$%^&ing useless as I remember them to be years ago

So, I wouldn't put this down to dealer incompetence. You are probably the first person to make this request!
I have it running, version 10, without an XP virtual machine or the like, on a Win 10 (home) 64-bit platform. The machine is an MSI GT80, so not super-special.
32bit software runs fine on 64bit systems, it's the hardware that is the issue, and typically the hardware driver install programs that get wonky. doing a manual install of the drivers as you posted circumvents that issue.
Not all 32 bit software runs on a 64 bit OS. So, this disk DOES contain the Techstream software and the 32 bit software DOES run on 64 bit Windows 7?
