No I didn't do anything. The letter came to me that way. It may be because of my low mileage and late delivery date. My car was a brand new 08 but I got it in 09 taking advantage of their model year closeout rebates. Also at the time of the recall I had less than 10k miles on the clock. Maybe they thought extended warranty didn't make sense when there was so much time and miles left on the new car warranty.

The gift card spends fine at SewellParts.com. I placed an order last night using the clublexus discount and it now shows a status of "processed" indicating that the order billing is complete. I figured I better use the card before I misplaced it or had it expire. New mats and a stock of self maintenance items should have me covered for a while. What did everyone else spend theirs on?

Still no giftcard here... I wonder if there's someone who I should call?

I bought my warranty from Toyota of Greenfield and I'm the 2nd owner of the car. Here's hoping that I'm eligible!

If you bought a Lexus warranty and have since had the VSR performed then you should be eligible. I purchased the Lexus 8yr/75K warranty from Midwest Toyota fairly late in the game. Initially Lexus sent me a powertrain warranty instead of the giftcard, so I called the number on the warranty and they were able to verify that I qualified and forward the information to the department at Lexus that deals with the cards; it then arrived a couple weeks later. It is certainly worth giving them a call to inquire.

Is the $500 only applies to LS460 model or other model (such as GS350) as well?

Just called the number and they did not have my name or address associated with my car. They were very helpful but said it would take in excess of 30 days for me to receive my "premium" as he called it. I bought my car used from a private owner and he said I qualified for the "premium".

I called the number and was eventually handed off to Service Agreement dept.
Played the VIN number game and "Lee" informed me I had the extended warranty...surprise.

Anyway he said 'now that he had this information' the $500 would be mailed in 'a couple weeks'. Bizarre...

Their number was 1-800-448-1505

Just called the number and I am SOL. They confirmed that I will not be getting $500 gift card, just the extended powertrain warranty. Only cars with extended warranty purchased on the books get the $500. So Tee, looks like the previous owner of your car purchased an extended warranty and the VIN is tied to that..so you lucked out homeboy! #yesiamhatinrightnowson

I called 800-872-5398 yesterday. This time the said I am in the "second" phase of the notice which it will be sending out "soon". They said there will be a letter for the $1500 certificate and telling you either getting the $500 or extended warranty.

Received my PNC Visa debit card yesterday. Since my car still has 1.5 years left as a CPO vehicle and I have no plans to use Lexus service for oil change etc. I might see if there's any taker on Craighlist and negotiate something...

card has your name on it, at my dealership they verified that it was mine. I guess someone else could use it online. I just cleared mine off at Sewell onine with AC refresher kits, oil filters and some cool tools for removing the inside panels and dash. It was a nice 500 perk, including a Nav update.
