No, I haven't had any problems since the repair. I did have something leak from my vehicle that I'm keeping an eye on. My car has been sitting in my garage for the last month. Too much snow to even think about taking it out of the garage...

 

I just got my $500 giftcard in the mail last week. I bought my car used. I have a 2006 Lexus IS350. You pretty much have to call them and harrass them about it. Call your local Lexus dealership and ask them for the number to the Lexus customer service that handles the gift card. They will let you know where your card is and how long it will take for them so send you your card.

 

still patiently awaiting...wtf...the info online shows my father as the registered owner but still no $500...

 

I did my VSR late November, still no check. I called a few days ago, they are saying PNC is sending out a batch of checks this month.

 

Received mine today 2 months after I had the work done in December.

I had the VSR done in early December & received my $500 Visa card today. I read the letter as well as the "Terms & Conditions" paperwork that came with the card.

Since the paperwork is not clear whether you can use the card anywhere else besides a Lexus dealer, I called Visa customer service.

The Visa representative confirmed that it can only be used at a Lexus dealer for parts or service. If the dealer has a boutique, it is up to each individual dealer whether they will also accept the card for boutique purchases.

I hope this clarifies the question of where the card can be used.

Lexus told me that had some glitches on their end, but that all promised gift cards will be mailed out by end of Feb.

 

I've read through this thread and I am still a little confused. I bought my 2007 LS460 used from a private party. No extended warranty. Had the VSR done in January. Am I eligible for the $500 gift card ? Thanks

 

only if you purchased an extended warranty or you bought it CPO from a dealer, you would be entitled to the 1500 off your next lexus if you buy it within a year. The 500 gift card was really a perk for folks that bough extended warranties or CPO which is Lexus extended warranty within certain conditions on pre-owned vehicles that they resell.

I bought my car from a Lexus dealer non CPO, no extended warranty and received 1500 gift certificate & the $500 gift card. I had the VSR work done back in Oct, I got the gift card last month.

 

I don't think this is true. I bought my car brand new and I don't have an extended warranty. They gave me a $500 gift card.

 

umm did you do anything special? i called and they said they can only offer extended warranty for cars without extended warranty already
