Door handles continuously unlock when hand is over handle sensor
It's hard for me to describe over text, so I made a video of what I'm experiencing. Edit: This happens on all four doors.

Sounds like it's doing 5 unlocks for each proximity so something in the proximity system is broken. Did you try disconnecting the car battery for 30secs to do a hardboot of the associated computer/controller.
Didn't seem to do anything. I forgot to mention sometimes when I'm driving, the dash will have a caution light saying the key is not detected. I just replaced the fob batteries with that message still appearing.
Regarding the repeated unlocking, perhaps there is a lock mechanism that is 'hanging up' and not fully unlocking? I'm guessing if the computer doesn't receive feedback that all the doors have unlocked, it will keep trying until it receives proper feedback that they're all unlocked (or all the doors that are supposed to unlock have properly unlocked).
In your video, it appears you're grabbing the passenger rear door handle? That position would command all the locks to unlock. Try unlocking from the driver's door. It should only unlock your driver's door (unless TechStream is programmed otherwise?)
Also try this....roll down all the windows and lock the doors. Then, view each of the lock/unlock latches by sticking your head into the car, and then grabbing for a door handle (on the outside, not inside). You might just find one of the lock/unlock latches aren't fully engaging to the unlock position?

Regarding the keyfob/batteries/key not detected message---the key detection sensor can be a bit fussy. The ashtray is a BAD location to place the keys when driving, at least in my 2005 LS. Anywhere else but the center console/ashtray area is ok for me. Experiment with different locations of storing the key. Heck--start with it in your pants pocket.

The LS's can do really weird things to the electronics when the car battery is "low". While you're checking the battery, check all the ground connections and make sure they are clean and tight. I'm not sure how the keyless sensors communicate to the car or if/where the sensors/antenna are, but a broken/corroded ground could also be a culprit. Just looking at all the ground connections isn't good enough.
To ensure the ground is good, you should loosen the connection, remove the cable/wire and ensure there's no corrosion under it, and even rough it up with a wire brush or emery cloth, etc. I'd then consider spraying contact cleaner/brake cleaner/90+% alcohol/etc. After it's clean I would coat the connector/nut/post/threads with a VERY LIGHT coat of oil, similarly for the battery terminals.
Perhaps RKW can provide some guidance on the key fob sensor or antenna system layout? What year is your LS?
Wow. Now it's getting more difficult. How about the car's battery? Is it older and possibly need to be replaced soon?

Edit: this was a year or two ago when he replaced the wire
Edit 2: My transmission was acting up maybe a year ago and had my ecu replaced, which fixed the issue of downshifting improperly. I don't recall my current issue ever happening after replacing the ECU.
