not sure what noise you refer to. In my case it is the wiper arm hitting the button that makes the "banging" noise, especially when I turn the wiper at high speed.
The wiper is noisy on my Lexus LS 430. Done change wiper blades. It’s the driver side . What can I do to fix the problem.
Use dealer wiper blades.
The aftermarket stuff does not cut it.
(On LS400) comparing OEM to aftermarket wiper blades, the OEM Blade mechanism has additional pivots which to better follow the contour and curvature of the windshield.
If it's that squeaking and/or juddering noise as the blade sweeps across the glass, then treat your windscreen and wiper blades to a coating of RainEx or similar.
I know that the LS windscreen on the facelift 04-06 models has an impregnation or coating of some kind of hydrophobic system but mine gets RainEx-ed twice per year regardless.
It does rain a lot over here.
Toyota/Lexus wiper blade inserts are graphite-coated and designed to eliminate noise/chatter and are very high quality. The original blade inserts and arms work together and are fitted exactly for the specific LS430 windshield curvature.
I've changed my rubber blade inserts only once, in September 2012. It was not out of necessity, more of a test to see if anything would change. The new rubber performed exactly the same as the old ones, so I still have them as backups. Still on the same ones from 2012 now in 2021, working just fine after 9 years of Canadian winters.
The part numbers for my 2002 back in 2012 were 85214-50100 LH side ($6.95), 85214-50061 RH side ($9.95). No idea why people pay multiple times OEM for lower quality, less efficient products.
Never used Rain-X or AquaPel, all of my glass is permanently water-repellent due to some sort of titanium silica coating. In newer LS430s, I think only the windshield and front windows are water-repellent.

Are rubber inserts simply graphite coated or are rubbers graphite impregnated?
I have never used fancy (expensive) or dealer wiper blades and never had noise or issues on any of my cars unless the blades were old and neede replacment. Clean, clay bar, razor blade, and polish the windshield. What comes off with the razor is shocking. Maybe add a coating, maybe not. It still should not be making that noise after.
To address the question above, Denso wiper blade refills are often marketed as "graphite coated"
New fun fact: The 1999-2003 Honda/Acura wiper blade rubber insert (76622-S0K-A01) fits perfectly on the LS430 LH side.
My LH blade's rubber (85214-50100) developed a tear in May 2022, after paying $6.95 at the dealer for it in September 2012. 10 years and 80,000kms (mostly garaged) is a pretty good lifespan.
I had a spare, sealed-in-package Honda OEM rubber insert, sitting in a box for many years, from a 2002 Honda Accord V6 that I junkyarded many years ago, and it looked like one of these inserts was a pretty close match, so I opened the package, compared lengths, it was very close, then just tried installing it into my LS430's LH arm.
It turns out that this Honda/Acura insert 76622-S0K-A01 fits the LS430's LH arm absolutely perfectly. This cannot be a coincidence: the length of the 2 metal shims and length of the rubber must be dead on exact for it to fit. I wonder how many other vehicles use this exact same insert.
