Default Engine cover clips...

The plastic clips that secure all of the plastics under the hood... anyone know where to find them? Ours seem to be a bit different due to the Phillips head on them. I'm missing a few, a few more are broken... want to get a handful and replace all of them. Anyone got a source where they are readily available before I go to the dealer?

Those are 90467-09087-22. My local dealer only had qty 3 on hand. His computer wanted him to charge me over $2 each, but the guy was nice and said I can't do that, and charged me list, at the time, 97 cents. Parts.com wanted 70 cents each so I bit the bullet and got 30, adding them to the order for the door handle inserts, figuring I'll never need any again.

The ones holding the air intake over the radiator are 90467-08155...

Johnhav I'm not sure that part number is correct. I'm not saying you're wrong necessarily but I looked at the parts diagram a couple months ago and came up with 90467-07146.
That said I bought a 10 pack on eBay for $3.99 plus $2.60 s&h (to Arizona) about a month ago and they work just fine.

Yours look stubbier than original...maybe they fit fine? Mine are the ones the Lexus dealership sold me and they matched them up to what I gave them, which was from the engine area...the websites have dimensions....orig 6.7 mm, yours 6...also shorter...

Found OEM with reasonable shipping.

edit... many places had them, but wanted $10-12 for shipping... not paying $25 for these. The listing above was $15 shipped which is much better.

Default Splash Cover Clips

Just so you guys don't feel so badly. I just finished paying close to $15.00 for 14 clips to hold my lower front splash cover in place. Understand there are many more screws and clips but I guessed at what I might need. That's almost $1.00 per screw/clip which has to be (realistically) under 5 cents per screw true cost. Until we know how to obtain items that are overpriced by zillions we will be taken over the coals. Thank god for these forums. As far as the engine clips, I remember seeing clips bought in volume for pennies in comparison to what we pay. However, over the lifetime of ownership... how many clips will we ever need??? LOL There you go... they got us by the b...s! Always.

This product has an assortment of Toyota-based clips and buttons and so far I have not been let down. Maybe not always an exact match, but one of these typically work.... With 3 different Lexus models in the stable it was the best alternative .... (for me...).

Sure it does not have to be exact match. I got a bagful(~50 pieces) of them on eBay for like 5.00 including shipping. Took a while from China to receive it via mail but very handy bag to have around.
