If You Dont Have Techstream For OBD II Codes
My laptop decided to fry my cheap Chinese Techstream dongle knockoff. I needed to know the codes it was throwing and discovered something.
If you have an OBD code plugin device - they sell for about $25 on eBay or Amazon and plug into the OBDII port it will Bluetooth to your phone.
Get the (free) Torque app and it will show you the codes and a brief explanation. It also offers you to reset codes if thats appropriate too.
The Torque app can also be set to give you a lot of other handy reading too, voltage, temp, etc.
