Bluetooth ODB2 reader and app.
Hi guys
I have read about carista, I do not like the idea of paying $50 bucks a year. I'd rather pay a one time fee for an app. What is a good app that would work for reading and clearing fault codes? And customisation features etc?
And what would be a reliable bluetooth reader that can allow me to not only read but clear codes?
THANKS!

The Carista type of adapter works well because it's a code reader and it let's you customize your car but if you don't need the customization you might be better off getting an actual code reader.
I have a nexus 9 and I also have the iphone. I asked carista and they confirmed that their app will work to access ALL LEXUS ECUs not only the Engine.. because I have power steering issues... I need the app to be able to access AND clear All Lexus ECUs... does Torque do that? We shall find out tomorrow I guess when try. I got the ELM327 wifi. I bought the torque pro for my nexus and will try using that... does that allow you access to the Lexus programable options?
