Default Lexus longevity

My friend's 96 ES300 - Just past 400,000 miles. Has never had any engine work. Oil changes and TB etc only. He is traveling salesperson - drives 100 miles a day.

Similar story here also with my 97 ES300. It has 260K on it without engine nor tranny work. I have replaced couple of O2 sensors, EGR valve with regular oil change and TB once and the shock mounts. Another TB is due soon though. With my 2003 RX300, I replaced the TB at 150K and I found the belt to be still in prestine condition. Like everyone else, I hope my current 2005 LS430 to last long, long time..

With proper maintenance..you will love the LS long long time. I would not mind at all if my LS lasted 30 years and 400k miles.
