I know its not an LS430 but I have to post this. A friend of mine took me out to lunch recently. He drove and picked me up in his 1996 ES300 - which has 397k miles on it! With no major engine work ever..just tune ups, oil changes, brakes and 2 timing belts to date!. Interior is a little worn and faded but still looks pretty good..no rips, tears, cracks etc. . Paint on the outside of the car is still relatively shiny. Just a remarkable testament to Lexus quality.

 

i'm closing in on 97k,, i wonder i can make it to 197 let alone 397,, geez that is incredible.

 

That's awesome. I swap cars so often that the only way I'd have a car with that many miles on it is if I bought it with 390K on the odo.

 

I would drive my LS to 500k if she could...

 

yea i agree, i used to trade cars a lot, but i have found the holy grail in my ls 430

 

That's nothing. I was just reading about a guy in a magazine that has 750k miles on his early 90's LS400. He says he is going to 1 million miles with the factory engine and transmission.
