My mirrors both work with the auto retract, but id prefer to leave them out most times. When I leave them out the drivers side works its way forward and throws off my view, its the whole thing not the mirror. I think it happens when i close the door.
Anyone else have this problem?

 

I don't but I feel your pain on how annoying that might be. It could need something tightened or the motor could be shot. Has the mirror been hit recently?
