08MY Door Mirror

Auto folding mirror will not function properly. Pivots with little or no resistance. Any ideas on how to get it back on "track"?

Sounds like a bad motor/gear. If you're good at DIY I believe you can pull out the mirror and get to everything behind it. The dealer will just change the entire mirror at an exhorbitant price.
