I'm driving my LS home tonight and open the tray that slides open under the radio/nav and notice it looks extra dark. Is my memory failing? I remember that tray being lighted...or I think I do. I checked the manual, but could not find anything, and I looked for a light in the tray, and could not find a bulb. I sort of remember it being lit from behind though. Can someone check. I hope I'm not going crazy.

Can anyone go in their car at night at check if the Aux storage under the CD changer is lit when open?

Sam - I checked mine. No light in that compartment. I think that was the about the 4th time I've opened mine. I can't really figure out what to put in there!

 

you mean the Ash tray?..I use it as a coin holder, but the problem is that the thing is soooo deep that any coin that gets stuck under or passed the rubber piece is pretty much gone!

I always thought of it as an ashtray as I use my ashtray to put my cell phone in while using the lighter to charge it.

I use it all the time because my Palm fits perfectly. We have one person saying no light during the night...any other takers? I don't know why it wouldn't be since every other compartment at night ,including the small coin holder no one uses to the left of the steering wheel, has a small light.

I'm pretty confident that there is a light in there. I use this tray for my MP3 player and cell phone. This is the compartment that slides out...
