Newbie with an alignment question
Hello,
Just bought a '01 LS430 today. I had a RX before so I'm not totally new to the Lexus world. Almost bought a '01 BMW 740iL sport but decided to go with the LS because of its reliability.
Anyway, the two front tires of the car were down to 4/32 and the rear still has 9/32. The inside of the front tires are much wore out than the outside. I suspected bad alignment. Lexus tech who did the inspection also suggested new alignment.
So what's the factory recommended alignment setting for this car? Camber and toe? What setting do you have? Thanks a lot.

No one knows the alignment spec?
The traffic in this forum is much lower than what I expected, I guess people here are probably much more busier than the guys on STI/EVO forums.
Anyway, I'm getting an alignment done next week in a trusted local performance shop so the uneven tread wear issue should be resolved.

I can e-mail you a shot of what AllData lists for specs. It's too big a file for attachment here and too blurry if I resize it smaller, otherwise I'd just post it here. Send me your e-mail address to shayes@chemdrive.com with "LS430 alignment" in the subject line.
