Default 04 LS430 ECU TCM issue.P2757 Need Help!

Does anyone have a legit Tactrix Openport they are willing to sell? I am quite sure my vehicle needs a ECU flash to update from the older calibrations I.e. 347140-143 to 144-145. I plan on doing the two day techstream subscription. But I need a legit cable and not a clone to flash without risk.

Has the ECU been repaired for solder joints and caps? Seems to be a problem with the 2004-2006 and if hasn't been done the repair center should do the ECU flash also at same time. Just a thought.

A software update won't solve that problem.

P2757 is a code for Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Performance

2004 ECU's can be flashed to 2005-2006 software. They need to be flashed if you install a used ECU, otherwise you will have a VIN mismatch / immo code. Once flashed you need to write the VIN to the ECU.

Ship your ECU in. We can do this for you and program your VIN into the ECU - $99.

It's also included free with the ECU rebuild. https://taninautoelectronix.com/prod...ough-shifting/

You are right. I was hopeful but it’s something I’ll have to live with. I took it to the local Lexus dealer. They let me have a sit down with the master technician. He happens to own a 2005 LS430 with a remanned transmission since his went out. He said he actually went and toured the facility (somewhere in Indiana/Michigan?) and they showed a few split open TCC body to show them how the problem develops and how the components fail.

He advised to enjoy it while it is driving well still. If need be, replace the transmission. But the P2757 is along for the ride. I can always pull the EFI fuse to clear it out if I want to use the adaptive cruise control (rare).

When was the last fluid change?

If the solenoid failed, it's not too bad of a job. Just drop the pan and replace it. Resistance between the two solenoid pins should be around 5ohms and it should click with 12v applied to it.

SLU is the one you're after.

Default Solenoid

yea, I did that job back in 2021/2022. Replaced the solenoid and new fluid.
