Got the black screen again
Can anyone share any recommendations and feedback that have replaced oem screen with aftermarket screen. Looking to install in a 02 LS430 with Mark Levinson.

If you got the black screen did you check for water near your NAV in right lower trunk area?
Might just be the Nav. They are not that expensive and if you source one local junk yard they are less expensive than online.
My 2004 screen is pretty shot too - dim and scratched all up.
It works but it bugs me in bright light you can hardly see it.
Thinking of trying the Teyes android system. The sell on Aliexpress and on their website.
Yeah, for some reason, my search yielded few results prior to starting this thread. Restart of phone, log out and sign in resulted in many threads,,,
Like you mentioned, I read quite a few threads regarding the Teyes model.
In the video that was attached in the thread titled Teyes CC3 2K, the reviewer mentions the radio volume **** does not control volume, yet the steering controls work.
A mote in depth thread on the Teyes mention a wire splice modication for volume **** function, If IRC... this will be the 3rd time replacing screen. I spent a few hours researching but started other projects. The Teyes does look like one of the better budgeted aftermarket options, just not feeling the trim

Let me find that other thread - not sure if this YT is the same guy and I am sure it's not.
He has his own website he posted on and I have that link. This link below is for a different unit that is not the Teyes and is still available on Aliexpress:
that shows a different unit and dual air works - entire screen controls every aspect of AC/Heat/Dual/Temp etc:
I didn't pickup on the volume button issue on the other thread nor remember it being a show stopper.
Will check it out again and I am going to do this conversion even with the drawbacks. And there were few with this latest guys install.
My biggest fear was the temp gauges however that last guy got everything working by adjusting the cambus to a specific setting that was different than what Teyes said.
I believe it was the LS460 High? ( memory lapse goes here)
I will try and find that thread.

The thread is under 70Chevelle -
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...-ls430-41.html
70Chevelle went through his install - I think there is another thread but you can pickup a lot of info on the Teyes CC3 here.
Plus 70Chevelle has his install documented here:
