Yeah I’m okay thank you, I had my buckle on but I still managed to hit my head on the wheel, little blood but nothing to to bad. Stroock, no this isn’t the end, I’m just going to start taking everything off and go from there. Maybe do some other things while everything’s off. Trying to have a positive attitude. Other driver was fine as well

Ouch sorry to hear. Glad there were no serious injuries. With that high a hit no airbag deployment so that is good in respect to the possibility of getting it fixed. How did this happen?

It was stop and go traffic, she took off pretty fast and suddenly she slammed on the breaks, and my LS has the bad tie rods as some may have read from previous posts, so I couldn’t stop in time, causing the accident but I already looked at my dash cam, quite obvious she slammed on them considering no one was in front of her.

Took everything off already, frame is bent but honestly a frame shop could probably get it out in decent shape, the new hood latch I bought is toast. The bumper cover is fine it just needs to be buffed and touched up but the actual bumper frame is a little messed up, it almost looks like it has a face lift.. The radiator support is broken. Also both headlight TABS broke.... anyone got any ideas on how to fix that? I don’t wanna gorilla glue them I want something that will hold when I bolt them in. Will post pics tomorrow

Loctite makes a plastic epoxy that will hold the tabs on quite well. You'll break the plastic tab in a different spot before you break the epoxy. You can get it at just about any auto part store.

Sorry to hear about your car.. Good luck on getting it back together! Glad you're okay!

The thing that looks like a smaller radiator in front of the radiator is the Air Conditioning Condenser.

That plug/sensor thing at the bottom of your radiator is probably an ATF temp sensor. The bottom part of the radiator contains an ATF cooler. The plastic clip should just unlatch and slide off. But of course it is stuck. I'd try to clean it, then press on the lever to detach the latch, then use a slotted screwdriver to pry it rearward while you're also holding the lever down. If you end up replacing the radiator, you will probably want to transplant that sensor from the old to the new.

Not sure about that broken off coolant fitting. Is it plastic? If you want to try to keep the old radiator, it may be possible to fix it using a brass barb. But radiators are pretty cheap (less than $100 usually), so factor that in.

Good luck, and glad you are not hurt too badly. But careful on that head hit. Sometimes there is a delayed reaction in the serious effects of those, as I know too well.

Thanks for the info sir, I’ll go ahead and give that a shot. The AC condenser worries me, no idea how it operates or replace, considering it’s bent it’s prob broke.... searching the forums hopefully I find something
