Default Omg!! Code p1349

I know this has been asked and I have searched and read, But PLEASE READ!!!

OK, LS400 with 96k miles on it
whole new heads, belts, plugs, VVTI gear, ocv filters and silonoids, water pump, Tstat. Im talk whole 100k service and some.

The car has no sign of problems: no hesitation, misfire, noise, ect. Car runs and sounds great!!
But the damn code p1349 is the only code coming up, all by its self.

Tested the connection and it ohm fine.
I hope its not ECU!! way to test that?

and as soon as I clear the code it comes right up on scanner in a matter of minuets, and check engine comes up in 10 miles or lest.

Does anybody have any Idea what it might be?

I'd rather think of the valve timing a bit off. The ECU is checking it very strictly.
Who did the 100k service? Was that person skilled well enough?

I recall this being a possible issue with the oil passages themselves being full of sludge and blocking the OCV feed. You got new heads, were the correct OEM gaskets used? There's an oil feed in '98-00 heads that isn't there earlier years which is required for the VVTi to work. Some random crap could have fallen into the passage during head removal.

Also possible/likely- the tech did not properly assemble the VVTi cam gears during reassembly.

Thank you I knew it wasn't the older ones. It looks like step son may end up with a 98 so be ready for some questions on them.

The car had this code and a few others before the 100k service and heads replaced. The person who did the service I would say is skilled enough considering he cleared all the codes but oneand car runs flawless. And the ocv was replaced and I know where it was located.
I just don't get why it doesn't show any signs of it having a problem.
Maybe it's possible that the passages to ocv is blocked up.

Should I try running that sea foam like some people have?

I am the 3rd owner and have only had the car for 3 months. I had all fluids replaced when I got it.

Thanks for everybody's help

Here is where the screen is located under the front cam bearing cap at the far right of the pic. I did not resize the pic so you could get a very good look.

did he replace ONE oil control valve or TWO?

Since there are a pair.. so a Pair of screens, a Pair of valves, and a Pair of harness plugs.
