Default 98 ls400 V8 missing

My daughter comes home and says her car and the CEL is on. So I drive it for the next couple of days and it feels like a cylinder is dropping out. Not all the time but usually at idle or deceleration. CEL codes 1346, 1349 come up with codes for misfires on 1,3,5,7 cyliners, and a code for random misfires. Seems like a fuel issue but other posts suggest going for the vvt filter. Any other suggestions?

Other discussions pop up on Lexus and Toyota forums.

VVT-i Oil Control Valve
VVT-i solenoid
O2 sensor is also a possibility.

Hate to be off topic, but billydpowe, your timeline of cars is very interesting, it's cool to see someone document every car they've ever owned

Sorry for the late reply but just wanted to follow up. Replaced the OCV and it runs like a champ. Thanks for the help.

Good.

What miles on the car?
This seems to be lacking on some threads I've read. Knowing where they are failing will help others if there is a common timeline.
