Strut Mounts?
Hey everyone, I'm going to be replacing my rear air struts with new ones next week because the current ones leak. I'm not sure if I should change the strut mounts while I'm at it. Any recommendations?

FWIW I've yet to have a completely deteriorated strut mount. It is a good measure to have on hand once the old ones are removed for inspection...if not not needed, return them.
The air stuts, I believe they are integarted so if you are going to a spring system, you'll need the mounts. (Guys, correct me if I have this wrong.)

So there's a change of plans for me, I ordered air struts Saturday and they called today that they don't have it in stock. So I got the conversion kit for all four corners from Arnott. Does anyone know if I need struts mounts for that? I asked the sale rep and he said he has no clue, it doesn't look like theres room to bolt it up. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If the sales guy doesn't know his product.
If you are going to do a conversion, buy the top hats, find some new springs in your choice of maker and some struts whether it is KYB, Tokico... The reason being is their distribution channel is much larger so if you have warranty issues, you may not get stuck having to wait for a part to come back into stock.
