Need to get the codes read. (would it even spit out any codes without the CEL?.)

I know that if it was the brake light alone, you are looking at low brake fluid.

Sorry I cant be of any help.

get an oil change to the nearest lexus dealer. its worth it. they let you know about the warning lights for free.

If it is both of those and your fluid is fine, I know my buddy has an Oldsmobile Intrigue and his does the same...it's a speed sensor in the wheel well that's lose and needs to be remounted. It sends the speed to the ABS & trac system.

I'd look into that if it's not your fluid...there's a wire harness attached to your wheel area, it's hard to miss.

the LS has 2 separate lights on the dash regarding the brakes.

it has the "Brake" light which tells u the handbrake is engaged and also tells u when the brake fluid is low.

and the "ABS" light which looks like a little circle i believe.

And the Brake pads warning light, but I think that came after 91.

thanks everyone, it was low brake fluid. what a load off. the last time I got two lights lit one was brake, the other was anti lock. that one cost me a lot. one of the rear elec senders had to be replaced. again thanks. michael
