Default Brake light on hard braking ?

I just bought a 95 ls400 about 2 weeks ago , Ive noticed if I come up on some stopped traffic a little too quick if I brake hard the brake light comes on for a second then shuts off , never comes on other than that , at first thought it might be fluid but the fluid is totally fine , not going anywhere not low ect .. just wondering if this is a wear indicator or something to that nature , if not what could it be ??

Any advice ?

Thanks in Advance =)

which brake light? The parking brake light or the brake wear light?

if it's the parking brake light, top off the master cylinder o the specified line.

Not sure if it's the same, but on my 93 there are two lights. One for the low fluid and one for the brake wear. The brake wear looks like a red circle, havn't seen the other light though

Hmm this one is a large rectangle havent seen a circle one lol , the fluid is right up to the fill line , would have wondered if it was air in the lines or something but the brakes work great , no spongyness nothing , they stop great as well .

On the 95's, the wear indicator is on the lower right hand side, the EBrake and brake trouble light are combined together on one light on the lower left.

The brake fluid level sensor might be sticking/bad. also check the EBrake pedal and see if the switch is sticking too. should be easy to spot, it will be the single item on the assembly with wiring
