Default intermittent brake light indicator - '96

it is on now, more than it is off
all the lights look OK - shelf & 3 on each side
is there anything else other than a wiring fault?

Are you talking about the brake wear indicator or actual "Brake" light.
1. The "Brake" light means you need to add fluid.
2. The brake wear sensor means you need to change your brakes and repair/replace the sensor.
