i will soon be remoivng the stock exhaust from the manifolds back, and custom bending a 2.25" true dual exhaust all the way back. hopefully this will yield some decent gains. i'll post the results after it happens.

does anyone have a link to where someone has done testing to see how well our engines breathe stock? I know there are coldair intakes and airbox mods, but I didn't see any actual airflow numbers in those threads, unless I missed it. I'm not deep enough into mechanics yet to come up with that stuff through formulae and all that... I saw the muffler delete mod...that just doesn't seem attractive to me personally, but I'm a sucker for detail.

19psi...were you planning on using just cats and resonators/cats and mufflers/etc? I'm going to talk to a muffler guy who opened his own shop, its all he's done for the last several years, see which will be better for the engine and sound. Frankly it could sound like a crappy old truck, so long as its the optimum amount of backpressure for the engine IMO.

i'm planning on removing the cats and not running any at all, then using two resonators and two stainless straight through mufflers at the rear with an x pipe up front.

Does anyone know an inexpensive method to add negative camber to the front wheels without getting coilovers?

I'm running 19x9 +40 fronts and 19x9.5 +35 rears (I think those are the correct offsets, I may be mistaken) with 245/40/19 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S's all around.

I need about 1.5-3 degrees of negative camber to prevent my tires from hitting the fender in the front when hitting a hard bump. I was looking for camber plates but I dont know if they'd apply to a suspension set-up such as the LS400 has.

Sincerely,

Alex

We should do this list over again.. Broken links, dead parts, etc..

It's still an excellent source & I find it helpful -It's just outdated. Better than nothing I suppose.

Its a great idea. I bet you if PureDrifter owned a first gen, it would already be updated and very current

hey guys. im new to the forum. and i read about 19psi wanting to do his exhaust. just warning u, i have a 90 ls and i did sumthing similar. (big...big mistake what i did). i got a custom exhaust done and had the 3(center) cat deleted, deleted the resonators and mufflers. did 2 1/2 inch true dual inch piping and just put a couple of strait pipe mufflers and the sound is amazing. such a low and nice pitched sound but actually slowed my car down.i lost so much backpressure, its not even funny. now im desprate for backpressure. yeah my high end is a lil better. but my low end is crap! im getting my exhaust redone as soon as i get more money :-/. any recomendations? im for sure getting rid of the strait pipes. i need anything that will give me backpressure.

Just a note on the strut bar that is listed to fit (93-97 supra), it does not fit at all even with added washers. To the best of my ability there is no one making a strut bar for this vehicle made between 90-94. Hope this helps.
