My right low beam recently went out and when I checked it, the thing that you plug the light into is melted pretty bad. I think it is called the wiring harness. I heard that it only cost about $15. Anyway how do I change it out. I could use any help at this. I really do not feel like riding around looking like POPEYE anymore. Thanks
DId you order the harness yet,if so where?
The same thing happend to me,Anyone have any info on how to replace them.
Can this be a DIY or should the dealer do it.
I just got off the phone with my local dealer and they said that it would cost about 1500 dollars for the wire harness. He said you cant just buy that one peice that melted. Is it true that they only cost about 15bucks
If so where can i get one,I need one ASAP
yeah some dealers are retarded and they don't know what they need... you CAN definitely do it by just changing the plugs! for faster response from steve, just give them a call and ask for angel or gordon, they would be able to help you

Same thing happened to me on my QX4. I bought the socket I needed from a parts store. Could have been Kragen, but I imagine they all carry them.
All I did was cut off the bad one and sodered the new one to the harness.
