Default Eclipse wiring harness

I'm having an Eclipse AVN5500 installed on Friday. The installer told me that they're not sure if my car needs a wiring harness or if they make one. For you guys that have or have had an Eclipse head unit installed did you need a wiring harness? If so, where did you get it and how much did you get if for?

i just got my wiring diagram for my car and tapped into each wire that i need.
i did not chop of the harness plug in case i have to switch to stock in the future. i just scaled off some of the rubber to expose some of the wire and just joined it there.
a harness would be great though but i like mine.
