Hey, Guys, I was browsing thru Steve`s stuff online and I came across this " Hiper voltage system" from Sun Automotive . Anybody have any idea what this thing really does ? It cost $118.00 Josey

Dmans freind has it has it. Maybe he can shed some light if it does anything or just a placebo effect like the grounding wires.

It says that improves acceleration , performance, etc. But I will like to find out from somebody who already has it on his car if it really does improves anything at all, before I think in buyind it. Josey
You got right , Gammalex . I mean, $118.00 for a placebo effect.... give me a break !!! but if it works is a different story, and that is what I would like to find out. A slight improvement in performance is maybe worth the money , having in account that most of the upgrades in performance cost hundreds or more. Josey
I got the XCS xtreme charging system on my car. It works like the grounding system - smoother engine response, better idle, etc. But no, I don't notice any real difference in power....
Looks like a waste of money. if you want to make better ground connections you can either buy a ground wire kit or make one yourself with amp wires. Some cars might notice a difference only if it has weak ground connections. I'm planning on adding some ground wires on my rx before i put my subs in.
I won't fall for those as seen on tv type products
Im too lazy to research, but if this raises the voltage output from 12.5 to 14.4V it could be worth the cost on the audio side. In theory the increased signal would allow more current to flow in and out of your car/audio system/amps increasing output and dBs. Enginear or anyone far more technical than me have any input??
When your car is running the alternator should be putting out around 14.4 volts. When the car is off the battery should be putting out around 12.5 volts.
