From the trip yesterday.. in manual shifting for most of 300 miles through the twisty mountain roads.
Breathtaking - both the new LC 500 and the scenery! I love living in North Carolina, too...it's the perfect place to own an LC 500 (mine's a conv't). Enjoy and thanks for posting.
i could turn that into a super man cave. Im stuck with a carport.
Did you notice the copy of the Mona Lisa he has up there on the balcony - or perhaps it's the real original and we're witnessing a Bond villain lair in the making here...
I haven't driven the ZX2 for over 20 years, so my one personal condition of getting the LC was that I had to get the ZX2 running to either enjoy or sell within a year. Turbo piping reworked, new head machined and installed, wideband installed, and the major leaks/missing bolts/etch fixed. Ready for some other fluid flush/fills and then some street testing/tuning. Fast and Furious family represent!! lolol
I do like this new (2024 onwards) wheel design - same one on mine - $80 very well spent, in my view!
100% agreed. Very nice wheel and should have been the default standard choice (In my opinion). Thankfully Lexus offers as an exceptionally reasonable cost option.
Was washing the car today and got caught in a thunderstorm mid wash. Finished the wash while getting rained on then had to pull in to the garage to dry it off. Went ahead and ceramic coated my wing as well. Also found a scratch on my front lip and a chip in my windshield

Try and get a repair on that chip ASAP, before it turns into a crack.
I was a mobile windshield guy for Safelite back in the early 90's. I did repairs for 3 years, I would advise letting the pro's handle it. Most insurance companies will waive the deductible for a repair, too. Just have a mobile tech come to you, 30 minutes and it's done. A decent temperature change and that's going to crack on you. 😬

This just made me address a similar almost identical chip in my windshield. @Timado404's advice was enough for me to immediately contact my insurance company and schedule an appointment with Safelite to come to my home and make the repair.

This is one repair I never quite understand. After it's repaired can you tell there was a chip there? If so, how is it not visible?
