I can never get over how amazing those wheels are. Such a rare option given they are ONLY on your exact model!

These rims don't come on any other colors. They were only made for 1 year on this color.

First time driving in the rain. LMAO. I’ve been putting off the 5k complimentary service and didn’t want to reschedule so drove it in the rain storm. I did oil change at 1k miles and now at ~3k miles.
When I got home, car was a mess from the rain. And when I washed it yesterday, I notice water is not beading as much as I want so I washed it with dawn liquid soap and Reset and hopefully strip off whatever ceramic coat that was left.
I applied two coats of ceramic. I slept like a log last night.

I'm using Carpro Cquartz Skin. This is Cquartz design for PPF. I've been using it since my 2020 GSF that has full body PPF.
I like it other than the fact that it doesn't really last more than a year.
https://www.carpro-us.com/protection...nano-coat-50ml

Last night, I decided to use the CQuartz Skin for the base coat. Let it sit for a couple hours then apply a coat of ZQuartz UK3.0.
https://www.carpro-us.com/protection...-w-reload-2-0/

The Skin is good to protect the PPF from yellowing and is rated as 1 year durability. The UK3.0 is rated 2 years durability. I'm hoping with the two combined, I'll get longer lasting durability as I did not like how the water did not slide off the way I remember using the blower yesterday.

Thanks. I'm considering either skin or gtechnique halo, or maybe gyeon ppf. Halo advertises 2 years durability so leaning towards that

I have no idea and don't care what brand my installer installed. It was one of those 10 year warranty film but it's a lifetime warranty from my installer. I also have no idea if it yellow or not as I've never kept a vehicle with full ppf more than 3 years nor have I ever taken one off. And I'm not committed to keeping the LC500 for 10 years either. I'm pretty sure the installer knows 99.9% of the people who bought such car and spend such money on ppf is never going to keep the car for that long.
The marketing on the CQuartz Skin is such that it protects the film.

Nick I also use the Car Pro products. Cquartz been awesome and still holding the last 3 years. it gets an Essence plus buff every year with monthly Reload sprits an always looks amazing, it just pops off the infrared. The Boat gets the same love!! Njoy! Dont forget the barrels of the rims and the calipers

Are you going to keep your old grill? I have a small crack in mine but it's not very noticeable, trying to find a clean used one.

I was thinking about selling it along with the grey pieces that surround the headlights since I bought all the parts from the inspiration series. My car does have the front camera btw but open to selling after the swap is done. My LC is brand new and only has around 800 miles currently
