I'm having lowering springs put in soon so I removed the back seats and the metal plates covering the access holes to the rear shocks beforehand. A nice little surprise is that with the seats gone, the exhaust note is probably a good 30% louder in the cabin and it sounds amazing! Hell, I might just keep the rear seats out permanently to keep that intoxicating sound.

Which springs did you decide on?

I did the same to save some labor cost and time at the shop and noticed this also. It's surprising how insulating the seats are for sound.

What do people think about my new wheels? I wanted to get something skinnier and lighter to increase MPG by reducing rolling resistance and increase the ability to cut through snow and sand for better traction in winter and while off roading. . .

MPG should increase just due to the 50mph limit on those tires based on that sticker I see.

I’m sure there’s a lot of snow in Texas.

RS-R lowering springs installed! These along with the 20mm spacers give the car the perfect stance IMO.
Big thanks to DVSSN for suggesting a good shop in the area.

I am sure your car will be very unique - the tire and the wheel color specifically on the atomic silver.
BTW is the wheel really rated for just 50mph? If so, what makes you use that wheel on the LC? I hope you will drive as fast as you can when an opportunity and that speed would be more than 50mph, I assume.
