I just got my brake calipers painted. Subtle change but i like it a lot

my shop added it per my request. They did a fantastic job

I got my calipers redone in gold and was pissed when I found out they weren’t brembos. Mainly because brembo is a very well known and long standing brand, with a great reputation. But also because I’ve never heard of Advic and I’m not about to put that on the caliper. I stuck with the Lexus logo. Advic sounds like some medication for vomiting *shrug*

Most of the car industry rags / sales / even Lexus service department all thought these were brembos due to the isf and gsf having brembo partnerships.

they went and cheaped out on this one but the Calipers themselves actually look pretty meaty and large. Whatever, it beats the terribly boring black Calipers. Even on the bespoke builds you can’t paint them a different color and that’s a total missed opportunity.

Hey Bit....I would never park my car between 2 thorns....You don't know anything bout these folks. You don't know if they pulled up with Kids; you don't know if they even respect the value and pride in ownership you've shown in the upkeep of your car. And because I don't know, I don't put mine's in harm's way. You are one Brave Dude!

 

^^ haha, thanks... parking spots there are huge and i just don't want to go around worrying all the time about where i park. but yes, a lot of the time i park away from other cars, and i knew i'd only be in the store briefly, it was also likely to rain (i know, more horrors for you, lol), and it's hot in florida so i didn't want to walk a mile across walmart's parking lot.

anyway, nothing happened and it didn't rain.
