This is my preferred method to work under the car...

What is the height of wooden block? Were you comfortably able to go under on a creeper? After reading through all type of jacks and related safety, determined that a setup similar to yours is best to work under the car. I am in the process of making one hence knowing the height will be helpful.

Not sure if I could slide freely under it on a creeper, I'm 6'1" 230lbs. With football player shoulders, lol. I use cardboard to slide around on, when underneath the car. I'm just shy about 1 or 2 inches of being able to turn over, when I'm under the car. a smaller guy would have no problems doing so, especially if his car is stock height...mine is lowered a bit. Here are a few pics of the crib.

When I jack from one of the (4) side locations, I use this little guy. Small piece of 2x4 with a slot/channel cut through the center.

If I need the wheels to be free for brake/rotor work, I use the cribs with a couple of 2x4's slipped underneath (2) 4x4's.

I tired of the orange katanas and also with my body kit coming in and the eventual orange pinstripe I will do along the kit, it was going to be too much with the katanas as well. So, I decided to paint them using the same Luxury Metal plastidip that I used to do all of the chrome pieces on the rear diffuser. Since it's a matte/satin finish it contrasts with the roof and other piano black trim pieces, but matches the wheels.

The orange window trim I will decide once I put the kit and pinstripe on to determine if it too needs to go. For now I still like that part

I'm not sure how I feel about the finish. Gloss black or carbon fiber may be the way to go here. It would be an easy change since I sprayed the plastidip right on top of the orange wrap that was there, so pulling the wrap (which itself is already on top of PPF lol) will make it easy to revert to chrome or then re-wrap using gloss black or carbon. There is also the inspiration series black chrome katanas as a more costly but OEM option!

For now, this will suffice!

For lifting the car using the rear, center jacking point/differential, a piece of 2x4 with a 1"x1" hole and jacking puck.

Amazon Amazon

Thanks for posting the pics and dims of the wooden cribs!

On your jacking setup: is the jacking pad on the jack, then the 2x4 on top against the jacking point on the car? Or does it go the opposite way?

The 2 by 4 weakened by drilling a partial hole in it will eventually split under the 2,000 lbs. load and be a big safety.factor. Get a rubber pad that goes directly on the jacks lifting point. The puck may be rated to lift a car, that 2 by 4 is not. Just my opinion, you all lift it any way you wish.
Good luck. Dont get hurt or drop the car!

You're very welcome, glad to help. I place the 2x4 on the jack pad with the puck in contact with the differential. 👍🏾
Pro Tip: Make your 2x4 a hair wider than the jacking puck...my 2x4 is too long so I have to turn it to run fore and aft when I place it on the jack.

Good point...just cutting the nipple off the jacking puck and not using the 2x4 or subbing the 2x4 with a 4x4 is also a good option.
Note: I'm not underneath the car at any time during the jacking process.

I have used a hockey puck on German cars before. Some of the jacking points are inside a small recessed area in the plastic under panel. The jacks lifting pad is too wide and will crush the plastic and I didn't have the specific jacking pad.
But I do have a bunch of hockey pucks, worked great!!
Might try the same on the LC.
