LC500 spontaneous frame crack (or something else?)
I finally figured out how to fix the rear squeaking noise myself and it took my just over an hour. It's also pretty easy to do, even for someone who's not very mechanically inclined - like me. Here's how I did it and the tools I used (it cost me about $30 with supplies left over):

If you do try it and figure out how to detach the wire from the rear seat belt, that would make this DIY even better and easier!

Have you considered using thread sealer like Loctite thread sealer (Blue - removable) or (Red - permanent - still removable just need more break torque)?
So that you do not have to re-do this periodically.
I considered it, but I ran across a thread that did not recommend using any type of Loctite for this fix. I don't remember where I read it, or why the recommendation, and don't have enough experience one way or another to try it. But if my attempts above don't last as long as I hope, I'd be open to try it the next time I service the bolts.
If you decide to go that route, I would suggest Permatex "Orange" 25210: High Strength Removable/Serviceable thread locker about 4 times the strength of Blue. Clean all threads before using, personally I like to use MAF cleaner, cleans as well as "brake cleaner" dries as fast too but is safer around plastics.
Personnel note about the "Orange". Don't use on anything 5mm and smaller going into aluminum threads. I used it on some 5mm screws that were holding a air filter backing plate and air horns to some Weber DCOE carbs, I nearly lost some threads removing them. When I reinstalled I use a flanged screw with locking wire, the orange would have worked very well if I had not needed to remove for a access to a throttle cable.

Its warm out and yesterday i heard a bunch of plasticy squeaking from the passenger side rear B pillar area. I had the top up so it was noticeable due to how quiet these cars are. With the top down its a non issue.
You guys experiencing this more so in the summer?

I've not noticed any abnormal sounds when the tops up. And your correct about how quiet it is. We were coming back on the highway and I kept hearing a rattling sound that was driving my crazy, like change in a plastic cup. Found out it was a water bottle, the little plastic piece that breaks off the cap (seal protection?) at the throat was the culprit.
