I'm just checking in on this thread if any MY 2024 and 2025 owners have unplugged the valves (or some other method), your feedback is appreciated.

You will have a code stored but it won't light the check engine light or any other light.. So just be sure to remember that and not be alarmed if the car ever gets scanned.

Just purchased a 2022 Convertible. Pulled the fuse on the 2nd day.
I don't see me putting it back in.
Stock with the fuse installed it seems too tame and quiet.
This just opens it up enough to be there and not be too loud or obnoxious.

I was going to do that but ended up purchasing a module that allows me to control the valves by using those buttons on the bottom of the rear-view mirror. It has 3 settings. Always open, always closed and the automatic factory settings. It works well, but I find myself usually just leaving the valves open all the time.

Does leaving the valves open interfere when listening to music or podcast dialogue? A quiet serene interior could be preferable for long road trips I imagine for some.

No it's not really loud at all when cruising.
With the valves closed its super quiet, with the valves open and under slight to moderate acceleration it's definitely louder but its not obnoxious.
Pulling the fuse is super easy and worth a shot.
If you don't like it put it right back in and your are back to stock.

Thanks!
I really enjoy listening to audio sources particularly on long drives so stock (Very quiet capability) would suit me well when serenity is sought. Fortunately flexibility of choice is available to satisfy disparate needs..
