Roma is smaller. Much faster and more nimble. Distinct and lounder engine exhaust tone. LC backseaTs actually fit people, Roma all the controls take getting used to.
Does anyone here have any info comparing a LC500 to a FERRARI ROMA?
I am thinking of either trading in or storing the LC.
The evo.uk.com review was quite positive with regard to the LC 500. Roma is more powerful, faster and dynamic. Yet the reviewers found the LC more comfortable for long trips , more enjoyable as a daily driver and better interior design and quality.
What an engine, but I'm afraid the potential running costs would terrify me... From what I recall, the FF has had a lot of issues with the trick AWD (or is it 4WD?) transmission, will the Lusso be any better?

From all the info I can gather, the LUSSO is ****, EXCEPT be prepared for a big *** repair bill, and it will happen. Between $5-45k.
The good news is that at least it can be repaired.
The ROMA is starting to grow on me. The closest thing to an LC500F.
Congratulations and enjoy it in the best of health
They are supposed to be a blast to drive
I drove a Portofino M in Florence last Summer and it was a complete hoot. The Roma is supposed to be better.
I am still waiting for my allocation for the Amalfi
I plan to add it to the garage, not trade or sell a current car
I got my car a couple of days ago and I will tell you that I already have a few stories.
1st story: The batteries in these are POS. I have seen bigger batteries in motorcycles. I got the car home and all of a sudden it wouldn't recognize my USB stick (no tunes!). I look in the manual and it says that if you don't start the car for 4 days the battery might crap the bed. WTF! So I put the battery on the charger overnight and the next day it says "full charge". Hot stuff! I get to go to my first C&C with the new car to show off to my buddies.
2nd story: So I get down the street and at a stop light, the car quits running, and the check engine light comes on. I freak out, the car restarts and I get to the next stoplight where it does it again. Now I am getting concerned. After it did it a third time I am like WTF is happening? I notice a small warning on the dash, "start/stop engaged".
The car has this crappy auto shutoff if you are sitting at idle for any length of time. I shut that off the first chance I got.
3rd story: At the C&C the most common ? I got asked was, "Is this your first Ferrari?" I told them that I only had to be married once to decide I didn't want to do it again. Like WTH? How many do I have to own to join the club? HAHAHA
Observation: The car is an Italian hot rod. Rear wheel drive with major hp! You romp on it and you can feel it want to go squirrely, just a bit, then after the turbos spool up it hauls ***.
WHEEEEEEEE!
There is no way LEXUS could have made an "F" model of the LC without having to change the way it is built (way too heavy).
As for being a "luxury coupe" the LC wins hands down..

First of all, congratulations on your new Ferrari Roma. Secondly, nothing that you have stated in your comments comes as a surprise. The Lexus LC 500 is just in a different category of automobile with a different purpose. Superbly constructed and put together as well as being exceptionally reliable, particularly in comparison to the Europeans.
it is meant to be a very high-quality, very comfortable and very trouble free long lasting premium grand touring automobile. It met its objectives.
