LC500 vs ROMA?
It would have been nice if LEXUS had made a few limited edition LC500"F" before it discontinued them, like ACURA did with the NSX.
I was jonesing for the LFA "concept" that was being shown before I found out it is an EV.
Hybrid yes, EV no.

An LC-F was going to be a bad *** car
The NSX Type S was a gimmick
They used the bumpers they had sitting around for years for a refresh that was never done, gave it turbos from the race car version and an itty bitty power bump
At list price it was a nice deal, but as usual the dealers and speculators made a mess of things
And then there's the thing about not having the right parts to build per spec (they ran out of CF roofs that did not have the roof tumor for sat radio, they ran out of CF binnacles for the gauge cluster cover) so most of the cars are kind of Frankensteins
I still haven't seen a comparison of how the regular NC1 does against the Type S

There was a video of an original NSX vs the new one (Japan video) and the old version ruled.
They competed times on a Japanese course.
I think an LC "F" would have been a bad *** car, but I also think for it to be bad ***, it would have had to be a new model. lol
I am still waiting for someone to sneak a NSX GT into a C&C.

More about the Roma please
Ferraris all have parasitic battery draining and as you noted come with a tender (not a strong point for the brand)
I like how they have to have an acronym for most things, the start stop is HELE, High Emotion Low Emissions

The ROMA is an Italian hot rod.
It is also considered an "entry level(!)" Ferrari.
It reminds me of what my CTS-V (1st gen) was like after I modified the hell out of it.
Probably because it is shorter, lighter and has more hp than the LC.
Much more "nimble".
Using "automatic" mode is surreal, almost lugs the motor (in 7th gear under 45mph), now you know how they can claim decent mileage.lol
Is it worth more than 2X what an LC costs?
To me it was only because I was finding the LEXUS boring, and yet it is a damn fine car.
I was thinking of keeping and storing it, but came to my senses.
Oh here is a good one.
The ROMA does not come with HOMELINK (an OPTION) and if you want it, the replacement rearview mirror with the electronics is only $1.5k!
Or, you can use a generic opener from Ebay for about $12.00.

Indeed. I saw and touched the LC F. Immediately said I would buy it. Shame it won’t be produced.
