Anyone have any luck putting an order for inspiration? I'm in canada and it has been quite difficult getting any sort of information on if canada is even getting any. No pricing listed on Canadian website, etc.
I have a bespoke build order placed about 8 weeks ago that has been in a limbo status. When I placed my order, I was told it would be a 2026. More recently they told me that the change over to 2026 would happen in August and that my order status would likely change then.
sure enough yesterday my status went to ‘order is locked in for production’. So perhaps that’s my clue that they have moved on to 2026 production now?
Would be curious to hear when you find out more... I placed a bespoke order a month ago and haven't received any updates yet.
Yeah. Tired of these “last” LC threads. Seems like people are more interested in buying the last LC than appreciate the car for what it is.
There’s no significant difference in all MY year from 2018. lol.
2018-2020. Same vehicle.
2021-23. Slight suspension change
24+. Interior dash change to include Lexus Safety 2.5 with touch screen.
I can share your frustration. I'm still messing with that camera. However, my thinking is some people on earth are scrambling, before the meteor hits, and the LC no longer exists, replaced by ??? at dollars ??? and they find it so desirable it creates urgency.

even if Canada is getting the 2026 Inspiration cars, the dealers have always been allotted by lottery I was told before, and chances are people like the sales manager/owner etc. will have the first chance to grab them if they want one .....

Its funny because everytime i go in i get a different story. They told me to contact lexus canada, lexus canada tells me to contact the store. I dont mind if they say you're chances are slim to none. I just feel like no one really knows. And thats ok as well. But if the people dont know why cant they just say that!
In any case... I seem to have put in an order for one. A day after they told me the "system" didn't allow for an order. So who knows... maybe I am on some sort of queue list
Dealer just submitted my build sheet. May be up to 9-months before delivery which is fine.

Would be curious to know how long it will take to get an acceptance from Lexus. I’m a little over a month after submitting my build sheet and haven’t heard anything yet. The wait stinks, but since I live in the Midwest, it would be a happy accident if somehow the car was delayed enough to be maybe done by spring of 26.

My wife's GX550OT+ took 6 months. Dec 23 to Jun 24.
Im ok with the wait. I'll sell the M3 when the LC is inbound.
At least ordering an LC isn't quite like Ettore Bugatti's customer selection process... (or Ferrari's - can you imagine having to buy a UX and an RZ, before they'll even consider your order?)
