Ah, true! Interesting that the Japanese Pinnacle Edition has the same spoiler also on the Convertible, but not in the US...

The Inspiration coupe costs more than the Inspiration convertible.
The coupe has the carbon spoiler, dynamic handling pack, carbon roof which probably ups the price. I am still surprised it costs more than the 'vert. I have put my name in with a dealer (refundable deposit) for the '26 Inspiration Coupe. I wonder if the Inspiration coupe or a regular a Nori/Caramel/DHP coupe would have better residuals...

I prefer the latter; but what do I know?

However, I want the Nori/Caramel/Sport Package/CarbonFibre roof, black-out chrome, HUD, ML audio, Alcantara roof liner, 10 spoke wheels ($40 option) coupe, etc (non-DHP). Can I order it?

Best to find a dealer willing to do a bespoke build in this case and you can get that exact spec

You're right, when I looked on the last page of the Lexus configurator generated build sheet it says:

PERFORMANCE
...
Performance Brake Pads
Torsen Limited slip differential
Rear performance damper

I know my dealer will order what I want as they are hospitable Gulf Coasters and aim to please.

Wow, they added all possible options on the coupe! on the Inspiration Series coupe!

Last edited by leftshiftbyzero; Aug 14, 2025 at 07:29 PM. Reason: Inspiration Series, not normal/Bespoke build.

Question - when do people guess 2025 production may stop, and 2026 production begin?

Normally, that would have been at least two weeks ago, we’d have seen 2026 deliveries already. Generational changes are usually the same, just a longer line shut-down in between for re-tooling, re-stocking. Lexus said they expect the car introduced in March, 2026 (announcement at Shanghai debut in April). That would imply the lines would likely run until Jan 26 sometime producing ‘25 models, then shut down for re-tooling.

Sound reasonable, or other more recent news? Obviously, ‘25 for the ES will be a ‘long’ year like sometimes happens in situations like this, or there are urgent/significant mods introduced and model years changed off schedule.

I have a bespoke build order placed about 8 weeks ago that has been in a limbo status. When I placed my order, I was told it would be a 2026. More recently they told me that the change over to 2026 would happen in August and that my order status would likely change then.

sure enough yesterday my status went to ‘order is locked in for production’. So perhaps that’s my clue that they have moved on to 2026 production now?

Yeah. Nothing new for the Bespoke build. Still can't add dynamic handling package to Bespoke.
The IS package is all I want but that color.....I mean, can we get Structural Blue black or Flare Yellow or add something new like Molten Pearl for the Inspiration Series?
I'll keep my '24 Bespoke. I was afraid they added dynamic handling in the '26 Bespoke which I might consider. Not letting go of my '24 Bespoke in USB unless I can get it in USB Bespoke with dynamic handling. And I'm not going to get a USB dynamic handling without the Bespoke.
Lexus made it so that I don't have to spend.

I don’t know. It could mean it’s scheduled, but for when? I am really curious from a production standpoint how they handle the transition. The fact they said that the car wasn’t coming until March has me wondering, or if that is not the case any more.

@NickL

“And I'm not going to get a USB dynamic handling without the Bespoke.
Lexus made it so that I don't have to spend.

What would be wrong with an USB with DHP non bespoke?
Just curious. it is very odd that you cannot get that desired DHP with a bespoke order.

I like the dark chrome on the Besloke and IS. Yes, it can all be ordered and replaced those parts but I’m not going to do that. Same can be said on the Bespoke wheels.
I have no idea why RWS and VGRS can’t be optioned out in the Bespoke coupe.
