2959, still wonder what they did exactly. Based on photos looks like the cloth where it meets the rubber looks different a little. I mean the rubber seal doesn’t stick out that much as before. Might be different camera angle.
I will ask my dealership at my next appointment if they aware of procedure.

In back one of the Technicians said they new exactly what the problem/fix was since it was previously discussed during a roundtable meeting. Not sure what they did, but the light hole on the right side when viewing from inside out is gone. The seals also appear to match around the windows side to side now at the tops edge when the windows are closed. Took them about 1.5hrs.

The Top was not adjusted, still about .100 difference left to right on the pinch/mating surface. I was told there is no adjustment for the tops seal pinch (which still appears cockeyed when looking at it).

Right side light hole gone.

Left side seal window closed.

Right side seal window closed.

Left side seal window open.

Right side seal window open.
This is spot on...dealers and their service managers/depts or shop foremen should have been made aware of this issue, if they haven't either they're not paying attention, or their area service rep did not disseminate.

FYI the issue has now been corrected at the factory, however I don't know the date it was.

Yea, they didn't say except it was fixed, no release paperwork provided. If I were to guess, they may have moved the forward door seal aft since the gap that was causing the light-hole is now gone. I say that also because there were some smudges along the A pillar area and the seal seems to meet up better at the corner edge of the top. I don't believe anything was done adjusting the top forward though.

Question

For those who have this issue when was your 24 LC produced? You can find it on the driver's lower door jamb on a black sticker, it will be a numeric month/year.
