Configure the custom mode to use sport mode for engine and Transmission, then use Sport + for suspension which will be ideal for track use and lessen Oil and Transmission overheating events in the same time you will get the driving dynamics of Sport + mode.
Good idea! I think my custom mode is already set to those parameters but I will check!
interesting, especially the price in Germany at 135k EUROS !!! yikes, thats expensive.
Also i thought they stopped selling the LC in europe or was that only the UK?
2024 was the last year in the UK, I believe 2025 in Germany, hence his comments right at the start of the video - “farewell to the V8…”
But hey, at least the Germans still get the LM and LBX, right? 😂
Listening to this chap in the video, it sounds like the German market was offered a blackline package option, with the darker parts only available in the US on the Bespoke models. Would have been a nice option to have over here……
Edit: just checked the 2024 German brochure, no mention of a blackline package - maybe it was just in 2025, to shift the cars in their last year, or maybe it’s just another Cartuber talking rubbish. The German brochure did remind me, however, that we have Expert Mode on the DHP-equipped cars - had completely forgotten about that!
In all honesty...without the LC I think Lexus offers nothing I would ever buy anymore. Sad as my last 3 DDs have all been from the Lexus brand.
I’ve just said this in the car chat. I’m having a hard time deciding what’s the next Lexus for me. I never had this feeling in the 15yrs of Lexus.
LS- done. And LS500 is not worthy of an upgrade over my LS460
LX/GX. No V8
RX/NX. 4 cylinders only powertrain.
ES/IS. I never care for these lol.
I beleive Lexus will eventually get it when the numbers hit the charts in regards to sales on all models. They will see what the competition is using in the motor cavity and styling and will come out with a blow away model that we all will be claming for. When there is nothing in the pipe, it creates a wanting, good marketing.

I was looking at RX as my first Lexus but when they downgraded it to 4 cylinders, I upgraded to 8 cylinders (LC). Now RX550h+ is in the pipeline which I may consider down the line.
