I'm new to owning an ISF. I purchased it almost two months ago and couldn't be more happy with it. I know after owning a car you will start to notice more and more about the car. About a month into owning the car I was on my way to work and I stopped at a light. I noticed that there was a very slight shutter at idle. No where near the shutter if it was missing on a spark plug. After that day it has drawn my attention whenever I stop.
My question is is this normal? I know having a V8 in the car there is going to be some vibration. I didn't notice this when I bought the car but figured I would ask. A little history on the car. It's a 2009 with 29k. The owner took great care of the car so i'm not overly worried just figured I would ask the forum.

Reason: Misspelled title
Mine does the same thing. Its like a low idle My V8 LS460 did the same thing. I have noticed if I put better gas in or add some octane booster it idles smoother. Also if I beat the **** out of her on the track or street it tends to idle higher also .
Welcome to the crew buddy. Try some Royal purple injector cleaner or some NOS Octane booster down the line. It is normal though.

Thanks for the response. Figured I was being a little hypersensitive.
I've seen some of your track videos. They're great. I want to get out there an try it. I'm up in Scottsdale. Ever make it to cars on coffee up in Gainey Ranch?
I have some slight vibration as well but I've chalked it up to the usual V8 vibration. I remember reading on another thread that after installing an air oil separator the idle will smooth out. I have not yet installed mine, but will do so soon.
I recall having this slight shudder in my 2007 IS250 and 2012 IS350. It was more evident in the 250. The best I can describe it, it always happened at a complete stop. The car felt like it was choking or like it wanted to shut off. Like I said, it was more evident in the 250. I brought it up to my advisor and he ruled it as carbon build up. But I never followed suit due to trading it in. When it happened again the 350, the feeling was all too familiar and I left it alone. In the 350 it was barely noticeable, it was just a slight vibration and that's it. Both F's that I've owned have not done this at all.

I also have this slight shudder while at a stoplight, though it only happens when the A/C is off. When the A/C is on, the engine idles a tick higher and no shudder.

beat me to posting this, exactly what I experience. Glad I'm not alone.
Its the brake booster. When your car is warmed up and you arrive home, put the car in neutral or park and step and hold on the brake pedal...it will do what you are describing.
