Default So long H-techs

After about 8 months of being lowered on htechs in the front and stock rear, I couldnt take the skate board suspension anymore.

Ordered and had installed a set of tein cst coilovers. Couldnt justify 1500 more for v3's.

The ride is amazing. Doesnt corner like it used to, but my kidneys dont hurt when I get to work anymore. If your on the fence about coilovers or springs all I can say is do it!

Props to my friend, and cl member ihiryu for the install and getting the stance just right.

The CSTs have a nice balance of sport and comfort. It's not as bone-jarring as with the stock suspension, especially those with '08 Fs, but it has enough comfort for long rides and can mask the bumps on the roads well. I don't track my F, so KWs were a bit excessive for my budget. Glad you're enjoying your ride even more. Do you remember what settings or clicks you chose for the time being (stiff vs. soft)?

I don't think the 08 suspension is that bad ? I dunno.....I haven't sat in any other IS Fs for extended periods of time...maybe that's a good thing. Ignorance is bliss?

I also don't think the 08 suspension is bad at all. I had a set of tein basic coils that came on one of my supras and F&/$ was that the biggest piece of s£}# coils I have ever rode on!! I replaced them with KW's damper set on 7 front and back and IMO the 08 F suspension still rides better.

Good to hear positive feedback on the CST's. I've been looking at them but couldn't find any feedback. I also can't justify buying a set of KW's for a car that I don't plan to track and I only drive 3 days out of the week.

This is my second set of tein coilovers. The first set were supra ha's on my sc400 and never had a problem for almost 4 years then sold the car. These cst's are set fully soft and the ride is great. This is my daily so giving up a lil performance for comfort wasnt a big deal for me, im not tracking this car...well not right now.

Ill post pics later

The ride ain't bad but the rebound is ***** buster, literally! That said, after 35K miles, mine has settled down pretty much but the car doesn't feel tight and well planted.
